HOWTO DIY MAXI DRESS with RUFFLE SLEEVES, BOATNECK | SEW ALONG | SEWING FOR BEGINNERS

Views:2188|Rating:5.00|View Time:23:25Minutes|Likes:115|Dislikes:0
Hey Friends, today I have another Maxi Dress Tutorial , this is surprisingly easy just like a lot of my sewing projects. I had been obsessing with Maxi Dresses lately that I decided to make another one. This time I made a boatneck neckline that is very flattering. I also added a frilly ruffle details on a basic sleeve just to give it some flare. I really like the simple A-line bottom of the dress very flattering and it can make you look taller. You will be surprise how easy this project is. I simply used a fitted t-shirt as my template and tweak it along the way. There are only 7 pieces of fabrics to make this beautiful dress. This dress was completed in 4 hours. I started drafting the patterns and cutting the fabric Tuesday night for about 1 hour. Then I started sewing the next day at noon by 3 PM I am done and started editing the video right away so it will ready for today Friday. Much love Aldo.

HOW to look VINTAGE or RETRO – hair & makeup for beginners

Views:50308|Rating:4.94|View Time:14:43Minutes|Likes:1001|Dislikes:12
You may well have decided to adopt a more vintage way of life or you may just be interested in the aesthetics of the past. Either way if you want to present yourself in a ‘vintage’ fashion then you will need to adapt your hair and make up to suit.
Sometimes you may wish too take baby steps towards a look rather than going behind your front door one evening as Iggy Azalea and stepping out the next morning as Jane Russell and if that’s the case then I’m hoping my next couple of videos will be helpful to you.
This isn’t a tutorial for a particular look, (although I do point you towards a few of my videos that may be helpful) I just point out a few things that I think might be helpful to a gal just starting out.
I do hope you find this video helpful. In the next episode I shall go through what you may like to try in order to ‘back-date’ your modern clothes to give them a vintage look.

VINTAGE HAIRSTYLING:

Hair isn’t the most important thing in the world but, sometimes knowing you have a super cool ‘do’ can make you smile and that can only be a good thing right?

Welcome to Vintagious, here, in my own litttle corner of Youtube I will show you how to create beautiful hairstyles from all eras. Sure, my main focus is on simple vintage hairstyling but I also love easy modern styles.

I don’t have a favourite era, it changes all the time. One day it’ll be Edwardian hairstyles that I’m all over, the next, pinup girl hair, the next I’ll be all about Greek Goddesses and their crazy Barnets! I just love it all!

I do hope that you enjoy my videos and that you can learn something from them, even just a tiny bit – and even if you learn nothing I hope that they make you smile.

6 PIN UP looks for BEGINNERS ( QUICK and EASY VINTAGE/ RETRO hairstyles) – Vintagious

Views:3680517|Rating:4.92|View Time:8:23Minutes|Likes:58229|Dislikes:892
It’s mainly about the front section of your hair in this video, but then some about the sides, some about accessories, some about the back, okay, so its about all of your hair BUT whatever, the styles are easily acheiveable, require little skill ad are uber quick to do. I think, and hey, it’s only my opinion but, I think they give an INSTANT pin up look. So, if you are just trying out a new pin up or vintage look and are still trying to get to grips with the, let’s face it, relatively complicated hairstyling then this might be the video for you.
