BRIDAL GOWN RETROSPECTIVE “A Walk Down the Aisle”
Celebrate romance with an exhibition of vintage bridal gowns courtesy of the Montgomery County Historical Society. Tracing fashions from the delicate silhouettes of WWII through the dramatic sweeping gowns of the 1950’s to the sleek shapes of the 1960’s, the gowns are set against the elegant backdrop of the Helz Music Room at Kentlands Mansion. On display February 5 – 27, the exhibition celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Mansion as a wedding venue. Visit weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or on weekends when the Mansion is open to the public for special events. Admission is free.
Nestled in the heart of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Kentlands Mansion reflects the beauty and grandeur of the early 1900s, with 22-foot ceilings, dark wooden paneling, polished hardwood floors, and crystal chandeliers.
Whether you are planning a wedding, a Bar or Bat mitzvah, team building, or a corporate special event, Kentlands Mansion will provide an unforgettable setting for you and your guests.
